A Few Words About Us

We are Eco-Friendly: Bob Klimenko, owner of Coastside Carpet & Oriental Rug Cleaners, is not a newcomer to green cleaning. That awareness has encompassed his life, including the Boy Scout program that he ran, teaching young men the importance of leaving the outdoors better than when they found it. Bob has also volunteered on numerous coastal restoration projects. He has always been conscientious about the environment and in fact, has been using the first green-rated cleaning products for 15 years. However, Bob emphasizes that just because a company states that they are "Green" does not mean that their knowledge or quality is good. Coastside Carpet Cleaners combines environmentally-friendly products with experience and results that earn the loyalty of their clients.

Giving Back: "My company motto has always been to give back." says Bob. Coastside Carpet Cleaners has sponsored Youth Little League for 11 years, and has also donated to the elementary, middle, & high schools in Half Moon Bay. Bob has coached Little League, CYO Girls Basketball & Girls Softball, in addition to running the Cub Scout and Boy Scout programs for 14 years. He served as coach for the HMO Cougar Boosters for 5 years, and has taken part in some 20 or more community service programs. Bob's wife Vicki has also done her part by serving on the Cougar (HMB High School) Boosters Board, as well as Cunha Middle School. She has also aided various Girls Softball teams, serving as 'Team Mom."
